Ingredients
- 1 tbsp flourNutrition
- 2 tbsps waterNutrition
- 1 cup light creamNutrition
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheeseNutrition
- 1/4 tsp black pepperNutrition
- 1/2 cup butterNutrition
- 2 tsps saltNutrition
- 3 cups chicken stockNutrition
- 1 cup diced carrotsNutrition
- 1 cup chopped celeryNutrition
- 1/2 cup chopped onionsNutrition
- 1 cup diced red potatoesNutrition
- 16 oz sliced mushroomsNutrition
Directions
- 1In large saucepan, melt butter.
- 2Add onions, and saute until golden. Add mushrooms, vegetables, salt and pepper.
- 3Cover and simmer 15 - 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- 4Combine flour and water; slowly stir into vegetables.
- 5Add chicken stock, simmer 10 minutes.
- 6Just before serving, stir in cream (Do not let boil).
- 7Sprinkle with parmesan.
