  1. 1In a bowl beat the eggs, then beat in the cream and salt.
  2. 2In a pan, saute the mushrooms in the butter until tender.
  3. 3Spread the cheese in the bottom of a greased large glass pie plate.
  4. 4Top the cheese with the mushrooms.
  5. 5Slowly pour the egg mixture evenly over the mushrooms.
  6. 6Bake at 350 °F (175 °C) for 25-35 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. 7Let stand about 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
