These terms govern your use of the ActiveDay iOS application and this website. By using either, you agree to them.

Not medical advice

ActiveDay, including its calculators, food data, insights, and all content on this site, provides general fitness and nutrition information for educational purposes. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified health professional. Consult your doctor before starting any diet or exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are under 18. Never disregard professional advice because of something calculated or read here.

Accuracy of data

Nutrition data is sourced from third-party databases (USDA FoodData Central, FatSecret, OpenFoodFacts) and manufacturers' labels; calculator results are estimates produced by published formulas. We work to keep data accurate but cannot guarantee it. Food recognition and portion estimates are assistive tools and may be wrong — review entries before relying on them.

License and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app and site for their intended purpose. You may not scrape, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute the data or content, reverse engineer the app, or use either service in a way that violates applicable law. Third-party data remains subject to its providers' terms, including FatSecret's attribution requirements.

Subscriptions

Premium features are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions processed by Apple through your App Store account. Pricing is shown in the app before purchase. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them in your App Store settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app and site are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost — keep exports of data you care about.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the app or site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under EU consumer protection rules.
