Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
This policy covers the ActiveDay iOS application and this website. The short version: your health and fitness data stays on your device, the app requires no account, and this website does not set cookies or run trackers unless and until you consent to optional analytics or advertising described below.
The iOS app
ActiveDay works without registration. Your logged meals, workouts, personal records, and settings are stored locally on your iPhone. If you subscribe to premium and enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account under Apple's terms; we operate no server that receives a copy.
Health data. With your permission, the app reads workouts, steps, heart rate, and activity rings from Apple HealthKit. HealthKit data never leaves your device, is never sent to us or to third parties, and is never used for advertising or analytics. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings.
Food photos. Meal photos are analyzed on-device using Apple's Vision framework. Photos are not uploaded for recognition. When the app verifies detected foods or barcodes, only the food name or barcode — never the photo, never your identity — is sent to nutrition database providers (USDA FoodData Central, FatSecret, OpenFoodFacts) to retrieve nutrition facts.
Purchases. Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We receive no payment details.
This website
Browsing this site requires no account and works without cookies. Calculators run entirely in your browser; your inputs are not transmitted or stored. Standard server logs (IP address, requested page, user agent) may be retained briefly by our hosting provider for security and operations.
Analytics and advertising. We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the site is used — but only after you accept the cookie banner, as required by EU law. If you decline, no analytics cookies or identifiers are set and the site remains fully functional. If we later introduce advertising (such as Google AdSense), it will be covered by the same consent mechanism before any ad cookies are set.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port personal data concerning you, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Because the app keeps your data on your device, most of these rights are in your hands directly: deleting the app (or using in-app export and delete) removes your data. For anything else, contact us at asar.innovations@gmail.com.
Children
The app and site are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Material changes affecting the app will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
