- 1Put all vegetables in a large pot. (Remember you will need to add lentils later so make sure it is large enough.)
- 2Add enough water to cover the vegetables, and season with salt and any other spices you enjoy like onion powder, garlic powder or cayenne pepper.
- 3Cook the vegetables until they are tender and add the lentils.
- 4It should only take about 8-10 minutes of simmering to soften the lentils and cook all the flavors together.
- 5Make sure to add water as it cooks out, or you could scorch your vegetables.
