A great no fat added banana bread with applesauce, whole wheat flour and whole rolled oats.

Directions

  1. 1Mash ripened bananas in a bowl.
  2. 2Add the rest of ingredients and mix just until moistened.
  3. 3Pour into large loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray like Pam.
  4. 4Bake at 350 °F (175 °C) for 1 hour and 5 minutes, or until wooden skewer comes out clean.
  5. 5This comes out so delicious and moist; I was very impressed that it made "bread" instead of mush.
  6. 6Note: if you wish, add a small amount of chocolate chips for an extra treat.
