  1. 1In a Dutch oven, brown chicken with 2 tablespoons of butter. Remove the chicken then add remaining butter. Sauté chopped onions, carrots, and garlic until tender.
  2. 2Whisk in flour until blended, gradually stir in milk, cream, bouillon, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cook, and stir until thickened for about 2 minutes.
  3. 3Add gnocchi and spinach. Cook until spinach is wilted for about 3-4 minutes. Add chicken, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
