Directions
- 1Steam cabbage.
- 2Sauté bacon and save grease.
- 3Mix all ingredients except cabbage. Use whatever spices you like.
- 4Place a tablespoon of meat mixture on each cabbage leaf and roll.
- 5Place cabbage rolls in pan. Use whatever sauce you like and cover with foil.
- 6Bake at 300 °F (150 °C) for 1 1/2 hours.
- 7Depending on the size of your cabbage leaves and the amount of meat you put on them, servings will differ.
- 8Note: you can also put a few strips of bacon in bottom of pan, and put the cabbage rolls on the bacon and pour a little bacon grease on top.
