  1. 1Brown and crumble ground beef in a pot large enough to hold 10 cups, drain off grease.
  2. 2While beef is draining, sauté onions and peppers for 3 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for 1 more minute.
  3. 3Return ground beef to pot along with the rest of the ingredients except for the rice. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. 4Add rice to pot and simmer for 10 minutes or until rice is cooked.
  5. 5Note: makes 10 cups = 10 servings.
