Ingredients
- 1 tsp saltNutrition
- 2 beef bouillon cubesNutrition
- 1 1/4 cups tomato pureeNutrition
- 1 tbsp minced garlic in waterNutrition
- 2 tbsps light brown sugarNutrition
- 1/2 cup dry white riceNutrition
- 15 oz petite cut diced tomatoesNutrition
- 1/4 tsp black pepperNutrition
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauceNutrition
- 1 cup onions, choppedNutrition
- 1 1/2 cups green peppers, choppedNutrition
- 3 cups waterNutrition
- 1 lb ground beef 85/15Nutrition
Directions
- 1Brown and crumble ground beef in a pot large enough to hold 10 cups, drain off grease.
- 2While beef is draining, sauté onions and peppers for 3 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for 1 more minute.
- 3Return ground beef to pot along with the rest of the ingredients except for the rice. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- 4Add rice to pot and simmer for 10 minutes or until rice is cooked.
- 5Note: makes 10 cups = 10 servings.
