Italian Sausage Soup
Great for low carb diets and also tastes great.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese -per serving sprinkle on top when serving..Nutrition
- 1/2 tsp leaves oreganoNutrition
- 1/4 tbsp basil - 1 teaspoon leaf basilNutrition

- 2 cloves garlicNutrition
- 24 oz italian sausage (links cut up or use ground)Nutrition

- 2 medium zucchini, thinly sliced -(cut in half length wise then slice about 1/4")Nutrition
- 2 cups water - 1 to 2 cupsNutrition
- 28 oz whole canned tomatoes, mashedNutrition
Directions
- 1in skillet brown sausaage and drain well
- 2then add all ingredients except the parmesan cheese to your Crock-Pot
- 3Stir well, cover and cook on low for about 10 to 12 hours.... You may want to add more spices based on your personal prefrences...
- 4also if you like you can add 1 med green pepper to this (make sure to seed and chop the pepper before adding) - My hubby likes to add some pepperoni to this soup too..
- 5Makes 6 servings and is great with garlic toast...
