Directions

  1. 1Whisk milk and cornstarch together in a medium saucepan.
  2. 2Add cooked rice, maple syrup, raisins, almonds (if desired) cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.
  3. 3Simmer over medium heat for 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. 4Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  5. 5Let sit for at least 15 minutes to allow it to set.
  6. 6Chill if desired to serve cold, or serve warm.
