- 1Heat olive oil in a saucepan. Add onions and garlic and sauté for a few minutes.
- 2Add mushrooms. Cook for a few more minutes.
- 3Add canned tomatoes, hot chili pepper, salt and oregano. Simmer until tomatoes are tender.
- 4Add peppers just before ready to serve as peppers should be crisp.
- 5Heat up shrimp and add to saucepan. Simmer for a few minutes.
- 6Serve over pasta or serve alone with garlic bread.
