  1. 1Cream butter and sugar.
  2. 2Add eggs, cut bananas into bowl and mix, then add flour, baking soda, and vanilla. Mix in chopped nuts, if desired.
  3. 3Grease and fill regular loaf pan 1/2 full. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 °F (175 °C).
  4. 4Note: you can use this recipe and substitute applesauce for butter, sweetener (like Splenda) for sugar, and egg whites egg beaters for eggs.
