Turkey Sausage & Vegetable Soup
A nice, one pot meal you can throw in the crock for 10 - 12 hours and eat for days or freeze for later.

- 1 tbsp leaves basilNutrition

- 8 2 oz servings turkey kielbasaNutrition
- 3 cups green beansNutrition
- 1 cup chopped carrotsNutrition
- 2 cups chopped celeryNutrition
- 3/4 cup fresh cilantroNutrition
- 1 large red onion, choppedNutrition
- 8 cups waterNutrition
- 16 oz turkey sausageNutrition
- 0.12 cup garlic, choppedNutrition
- 2 cups black beansNutrition
- 1 cup cornNutrition
- 1 cup brown riceNutrition
Directions
- 1Slice the turkey kielbasa (or polish sausage) cross-ways, to may 1/4" oblong pieces. Brown each side in fry pan.
- 2Brown the turkey sausage, in pan, remove grease, if any.
- 3Add the meat, green beans, corn (optional), carrots, celery, onion, chicken stock, spices, Worcestershire sauce, and a dash of liquid smoke, (except for fresh cilantro, to be added before serving), and fill crock with water.
- 4Cook on low for about 10 hours, add seasonings to taste.
- 5Note: you can add other vegetables and have fun with it!
