Ingredients
- 4 tsp minced garlicNutrition
- 2 tbsps tomato pasteNutrition
- 1/4 tsp garlic saltNutrition
- 1/2 cup stewed tomatoesNutrition
- 1 medium ear cornNutrition
- 3 tbsps vegetable oilNutrition
- 1 cup canned chili beansNutrition
- 32 oz raw ground beefNutrition
- 2 tbsps chili powderNutrition
- 1 1/2 medium onionNutrition
- 3 small green peppersNutrition
- 1 jalapenoNutrition
- 32 fl oz waterNutrition
- 32 oz crushed tomatoesNutrition
- 2 cups kidney beansNutrition
Directions
- 1Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic with oil until onions are soft and golden brown.
- 2Add ground beef. Cook throughout.
- 3Add chopped green peppers and chopped and seeded jalapeno pepper. Cook until soft.
- 4Add corn (already boiled and off the ear).
- 5Add crushed and stewed tomatoes and water. Add beans. Bring to boil.
- 6Add seasonings, add and subtract based on personal preference.
- 7Serve with sour cream, cheddar cheese, and/or chopped white onions.
