Slow Cooker Turkey Chili with Beans

- 1 3/4 cups canned black beansNutrition

- 4 tbsps chili powderNutrition
- 1/4 tsp cinnamonNutrition
- 1/4 tsp ground clovesNutrition
- 1/4 tsp ground corianderNutrition
- 1 tsp cuminNutrition
- 1 tbsp paprikaNutrition
- 1 1/2 cups pacific beef brothNutrition
- 1 medium red onion, choppedNutrition
- 1 medium red bell pepper, choppedNutrition
- 1 3/4 cups kidney beansNutrition
- 1/2 cup refried beansNutrition
- 6 oz canned diced green chili peppersNutrition
- 1 lb canned whole tomatoesNutrition
Directions
- 1Use a large 6-8 quart slow cooker. Brown the turkey in a pan over medium heat with the onion and bell peppers.
- 2Add the tomato sauce and refried beans to the slow cooker and stir until smooth.
- 3Add the whole tomatoes and crush to desired chunkyness.
- 4Add turkey mixture and all remaining ingredients to the slow cooker and stir well.
- 5Add beef broth to desired consistency.
- 6Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
