Ingredients
- 4 medium tomatoesNutrition
- 10 tomatoes cherry tomatoesNutrition
- 1 cup tomato pureeNutrition
- 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oilNutrition
- 5 tsps minced garlicNutrition
- 5 tsps leaves basil (dried)Nutrition
- 5 tbsps rosemaryNutrition
- 5 tsps thymeNutrition
- 2 tsps himalayan pink saltNutrition
- 2 tsps cayenne pepperNutrition
- 3 dashes black pepperNutrition
- 2 tbsps double concentrated tomato pasteNutrition
- 1 cup chicken broth - no salt addedNutrition
Directions
- 1Add the olive oil to the pot.
- 2Cut all Roma tomatoes and add to the pot.
- 3Turn the pot on medium heat.
- 4Pour in tomato puree after 5 minutes and smash the tomatoes into chunky bits.
- 5Add garlic, salt, and other spices.
- 6Once the pot begins to bubble, add in chopped cherry tomatoes, tomato paste, and chicken broth.
- 7Take off the heat once all tomatoes are soft (cherry tomatoes should still hold shape).
- 8Emulsify or blend the soup. Serve and enjoy.
