  1. 1Pre-heat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
  2. 2In large bowl combine flour, salt, sugar, spice and baking soda. Set aside.
  3. 3In another bowl combine, applesauce, pumpkin, egg substitute and water.
  4. 4Combine pumpkin mixture with dry ingredients.
  5. 5Bake in loaf pan for appropriately 50-60 minutes.
  6. 6If using plain whole wheat flour instead of whole wheat pastry flour, use a little less.
  7. 7Note: recipe will make 2 loaves, for better portion control use muffin tins instead of loaves.
