- 1Pre-heat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
- 2In large bowl combine flour, salt, sugar, spice and baking soda. Set aside.
- 3In another bowl combine, applesauce, pumpkin, egg substitute and water.
- 4Combine pumpkin mixture with dry ingredients.
- 5Bake in loaf pan for appropriately 50-60 minutes.
- 6If using plain whole wheat flour instead of whole wheat pastry flour, use a little less.
- 7Note: recipe will make 2 loaves, for better portion control use muffin tins instead of loaves.
