Directions
- 1Combine all ingredients in a pan, except for chickpeas.
- 2Whisk together until sauce is smooth.
- 3Bring to a full boil, stir often.
- 4Reduce heat so that sauce is at a low boil for about 30 minutes.
- 5Add chickpeas and heat through.
- 6Serve over brown rice or small pasta.
