Directions

  1. 1Combine all ingredients in a pan, except for chickpeas.
  2. 2Whisk together until sauce is smooth.
  3. 3Bring to a full boil, stir often.
  4. 4Reduce heat so that sauce is at a low boil for about 30 minutes.
  5. 5Add chickpeas and heat through.
  6. 6Serve over brown rice or small pasta.
