  1. 1Take biscuit, and place on a greased cookie sheet.
  2. 2Slice apple thinly, place on top of biscuit (press down a little to flatten the biscuit slightly). You may not need the entire apple to cover the biscuit.
  3. 3Take butter and slice very thinly. Spread out over the apple slices.
  4. 4Sprinkle with brown sugar. Add cinnamon and ginger, as much as desired.
  5. 5Bake at 375 °F (190 °C) for 20 minutes. It takes a little longer than the biscuits normally would, due to the toppings.
  6. 6Note: add an optional scoop of reduced fat vanilla ice cream for an extra special treat.
