Crustless Steak Mushroom and Cheese Quiche

Ingredients
- 230 g cheddar cheese, shreddedNutrition
- 1/2 cup heavy creamNutrition
- 5 large eggsNutrition
- 2 tbsps butterNutrition
- 1 dash freshly ground black pepperNutrition
- 1 dash saltNutrition
- 1 tsp garlic, crushedNutrition
- 250 g mushrooms, slicedNutrition
- 120 g onions, choppedNutrition
- 320 g lean beef steak, cut into stripsNutrition
Directions
- 1In a large pan, sauté onions, steak strips, mushrooms and garlic in butter, until cooked.
- 2In a large bowl whisk eggs, then whisk the cream, salt and pepper.
- 3Add the steak and mushroom mixture and stir well.
- 4Mix in the shredded cheese.
- 5Pour the mixture into a greased 10" pie plate.
- 6Bake at 375 °F (180 °C) for 35-40 minutes or until set and slightly browned.
- 7Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
