Chopped Salad with Tuna
Simple tasty tuna salad that is good for South Beach Phase 1.

Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp black pepperNutrition
- 4 tsps extra virgin olive oilNutrition
- 1/3 cup cubed avocadosNutrition
- 2 wedges yield lime juiceNutrition
- 1/3 cup chopped celeryNutrition
- 1/3 cup pared, chopped cucumbersNutrition
- 2 cloves garlic, finely choppedNutrition
- 1 cup shredded romaine lettuceNutrition
- 6 oz tuna fishNutrition
- 1/3 cup cherry tomato cherryNutrition
Directions
- 1To make the salad, layer the tuna, avocados, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, celery and romaine lettuce, in a bowl.
- 2Separately to make the dressing mix the olive oil, fresh lime juice, finely chopped garlic and pepper.
- 3Mix salad and dressing well together.
