Ground Turkey Delight
A complete meal that's very tasty and filling. This could become a new "comfort food."

Ingredients
- 8 oz sour cream, fat freeNutrition
- 1 tbsp garlic powderNutrition
- 1/2 tsp black pepperNutrition
- 1 tsp saltNutrition
- 2 lbs ground turkeyNutrition
- 1 cup chopped onionsNutrition
- 4 cups chopped zucchiniNutrition
- 1 can tomato pasteNutrition
- 15 oz tomato sauceNutrition
- 8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded (reduced fat)Nutrition
- 4 oz cream cheese, low fatNutrition
Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
- 2Brown ground turkey in skillet and drain off fat.
- 3Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, garlic powder, salt, black pepper and onions to skillet, and combine with the ground turkey. Simmer for 15 minutes on medium-low heat.
- 4Peel and cut zucchini into small squares. Place the zucchini in the bottom of a 9x13" pan. Cover the zucchini with the meat mixture.
- 5In a mixing bowl mix the cream cheese and sour cream. Spread on top of the meat mixture.
- 6Cover with the shredded cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 °F for 30 minutes.
- 7Optional - place under broiler for 2 minutes to brown the cheese. Watch closely so as not to burn.
