  1. 1Prepare lentils - finely chop onion and sauté in olive oil.
  2. 2Rinse lentils and add to onions with 2 cups of water.
  3. 3Cover and cook 30 to 40 minutes until they have the consistency of puree.
  4. 4Add two cups of low sodium chicken broth, stir and heat for 5 minutes.
  5. 5Add crab meat and season with pepper and bay seasoning to taste.
