Ingredients
- 3 tsps beef baseNutrition
- 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oilNutrition
- 2 cups dark red kidney beansNutrition
- 1 lb ground turkeyNutrition
- 28 oz diced tomatoesNutrition
- 1/4 cup tomato pasteNutrition
- 3 tbsps chili powderNutrition
- 1 tsp cuminNutrition
- 1 tbsp red or cayenne pepperNutrition
- 3 cloves garlicNutrition
- 1 medium onionNutrition
Directions
- 1Chop onion.
- 2Saute onion and ground turkey in olive oil.
- 3Mince garlic. Drain and rinse beans. Add all ingredients to 8 cup or larger slow cooker.
- 4Cook 4-5 hours on high or 8-10 hours on low.
- 5Note: serve with jalapenos, extra chopped onion, shredded cheese and sour cream.
