Ingredients
- 1 tbsp garlicNutrition
- 1 tsp pepperNutrition
- 1 tsp saltNutrition
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oilNutrition
- 1 packet onion soup mixNutrition
- 6 cups chicken brothNutrition
- 4 cups chopped carrotsNutrition
- 2 cups chopped celeryNutrition
- 5 cloves garlicNutrition
- 4 cups pieces or slices mushroomsNutrition
- 2 cups chopped bell pepperNutrition
- 1 head cabbageNutrition
- 1 lb onionNutrition
Directions
- 1In a large stock pot add the extra virgin olive oil on medium heat.
- 2Add onions, garlic and peppers, heat until onions are clearish.
- 3Add celery and mushrooms.
- 4Add carrots, soup mix (like lipton's brand), chicken stock and spices.
- 5Bring to a boil, turn down to simmer.
- 6Add cabbage pushing it down into the liquid, then add filtered water until cabbage is covered.
- 7Cook for one hour and let cool down before serving.
