  1. 1Combine zucchini, margarine, garlic, salt and pepper in a saucepan with water at medium heat. Cover and let simmer for 1 minute.
  2. 2Uncover and continue to let cook for 5 minutes or until zucchini is tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
  3. 3Add parmesan cheese and serve.
