  1. 1Heat olive oil over medium heat in a 2 quart sauce pan.
  2. 2Add chopped onion and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes, until almost transparent.
  3. 3Add your choice of meat/hamburger patty, and cook until browned.
  4. 4Add in chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. 5Add tomatoes, rinsed beans and chicken stock. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. 6Cook for 20-25 minutes, until thickened and fragrant.
