Directions

  1. 1Cook elbow macaroni according to package directions, omitting salt and oil; drain.
  2. 2Cook beef, onion and sweet red peppers in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until beef crumbles and is no longer pink.
  3. 3Drain well. Pat with paper towels to remove addition fat.
  4. 4Stir stewed tomatoes, ketchup, cayenne pepper and salt into skillet; cook until thoroughly heated.
  5. 5Stir in cooked macaroni.
  6. 6Sprinkle with shredded cheese, and serve immediately.
