Hearty Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp dry mustardNutrition
- 6 oz whole wheat linguineNutrition
- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breastsNutrition
- 1/2 tsp black pepperNutrition
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepperNutrition
- 58 oz low sodium chicken brothNutrition
- 1 1/2 cups carrotsNutrition
- 2 cups celery, choppedNutrition
- 2 cloves garlic, finely mincedNutrition
- 3/4 cup onion, finely choppedNutrition
- 1 tbsp minced fresh parsleyNutrition
Directions
- 1In a 5 quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients except the linguine. Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours or until meat is tender.
- 2Remove chicken, cool slightly.
- 3Stir linguine into soup, cover and cook on high for 30 minutes or until pasta is tender.
- 4Cut chicken into bite size pieces and return to soup. Heat through.
