Ingredients
- 2 cups dry old fashioned oatsNutrition
- 1 tsp baking sodaNutrition

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flourNutrition

- 1/2 cup granulated sugarNutrition

- 1 cup all-vegetable shortening sticks - butter flavorNutrition
- 2 cups semi sweet morselsNutrition
Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 350°F.
- 2Cream shortening, sugars, and vanilla.
- 3Add eggs and mix until combined.
- 4Add flour, salt, and baking soda. Mix slightly.
- 5Add oats and mix until combined.
- 6Add chocolate chips and stir until evenly distributed.
- 7Scoop into 3-tablespoons sized balls and place on a baking sheet, flattening slightly with palm.
- 8Bake for 10 minutes.
