Black and White Turkey Chili
After being served to 6 hungry adults, there was only about 1 1/2 cups leftover of this savory gobbler chili.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsps chili powderNutrition

- 3 stalks medium celery, choppedNutrition
- 1 cup chopped red onionNutrition
- 1 medium yellow onion, choppedNutrition
- 28 oz tomatoesNutrition
- 1/4 cup garlic, choppedNutrition
- 6 cups waterNutrition
- 1 1/2 cups black beansNutrition
- 3 servings 1 packet xylitol sweetener (3 tsp)Nutrition
- 4 oz green chiliesNutrition
- 28 oz cannellini beansNutrition
Directions
- 1Soak black beans in large bowl of water with 1-2 teaspoons of baking soda overnight. Rinse well. Place in crockpot.
- 2Heat skillet to medium-high, add extra virgin olive oil, yellow onion, a heaping tablespoon chopped garlic and celery. Add in a teaspoon black pepper, rosemary, Italian seasoning, a teaspoon chili powder, oregano, and 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt.
- 3Sauté until slightly tender. Add all to crockpot.
- 4In uncleaned skillet, add ground turkey and remaining spices.
- 5Cook, stirring frequently, until browned. Add to crockpot.
- 6Add remaining ingredients (except for the red onion, save for topping) to crockpot. Stir and cook on low approximately 8 hours.
- 7Serve with shredded cheddar or pepper jack cheese, lite sour cream and chopped red onions.
