Spicy Southern Style BBQ Chicken
With a sweet bbq sauce, this chicken dish sure packs a punch.

Ingredients
- 1/4 tsp onion powderNutrition
- 0.12 tsp black pepperNutrition
- 3/4 tsp cayenne pepperNutrition
- 4 tsps white vinegarNutrition
- 1/2 tbsp worcesteshire sauceNutrition
- 3 lbs chicken breasts, skinlessNutrition
- 2 cloves garlic, mincedNutrition
- 0.12 tsp ginger, gratedNutrition
- 5 tbsps tomato pasteNutrition
- 1/3 tbsp ketchupNutrition
- 1/2 tbsp honeyNutrition
- 1/2 serving 1 tablespoon molassesNutrition
Directions
- 1Combine all ingredients except chicken in saucepan.
- 2Simmer for 15 minutes.
- 3Wash chicken and pat dry. Place it on large platter and brush with half of sauce mixture.
- 4Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in refrigerator for 1 hour.
- 5Place chicken on baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and broil for 10 minutes on each side to seal in juices.
- 6Turn oven to 350 °F (175 °C) and add remaining sauce to chicken. Cover chicken with aluminum foil and continue baking for 30 minutes.
