Ingredients
- 2 tbsps soy sauceNutrition
- 12 oz cooked shrimp, tails removedNutrition
- 1/2 tsp ground gingerNutrition
- 1 tsp red or cayenne pepperNutrition
- 1 tbsp vegetable oilNutrition
- 4 cloves garlic, mincedNutrition
- 4 tbsps green onionNutrition
- 1/4 cup ketchupNutrition
- 1/2 cup waterNutrition
- 1 tbsp honeyNutrition
- 2/3 oz cornstarchNutrition
Directions
- 1In a bowl, stir together water, ketchup, soy sauce, cornstarch, honey, crushed red pepper, and ground ginger. Set aside.
- 2Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3Stir in green onions and garlic; cook 30 seconds.
- 4Stir in shrimp, and toss to coat with oil. Stir in sauce.
- 5Cook and stir until sauce is bubbly and thickened.
- 6Serve with brown rice and steamed broccoli.
