Ingredients
- 2 tbsp flax seedsNutrition
- 2 venison sausagesNutrition
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheeseNutrition
- 3 cups whole wheat flourNutrition
- 1/2 tsp saltNutrition
- 1 tbsp olive oilNutrition
- 1 clove garlicNutrition
- 1 cup pieces or slices mushroomNutrition
- 1 small onionNutrition
- 1 small whole tomatoNutrition
- 2 tsps yeastNutrition
- 2 tbsp millet seedsNutrition
- 4 oz tomato sauceNutrition
Directions
- 1In a mixer with a dough hood, dissolve yeast in water.
- 2Add salt, pepper, and 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil and herbs, spices, flax seeds, millet as desired).
- 3Mix until kneaded smooth. Let rest in mixer while doing step 2. Preheat oven and pizza stone to 350 °F (175 °C).
- 4Crumble and cook sausage.
- 5Add minced garlic and herbs/spices to tomato sauce. Slice or chop mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes. Rinse and drain olives. Shred cheese.
- 6Turn on mixer again to punch down dough and knead for 1 minute. With remaining olive oil on hands and counter, shape dough to fit pizza stone.
- 7Pull stone out of oven and sprinkle with cornmeal. Lay down dough, top with sauce and other ingredients.
- 8Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
