Fettuccine with Light Alfredo Sauce

- 1In saucepan melt the butter.
- 2Add minced garlic cloves; cook over low heat 1 minute.
- 3Whisk in 3 flour, then whisk in fat free half-and-half until well combined.
- 4Finally, whisk in salt, pepper and nutmeg, and bring to boil, whisking frequently.
- 5Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes or until thick.
- 6Remove from heat and stir in grated parmesan cheese.
- 7Serve over cooked fettuccine.
