Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add onion, parsley, garlic, and carrots, stir well.
  2. 2Add red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Continue cooking about 5 minutes until onion is browned, stirring frequently.
  3. 3Add marinara sauce and fresh basil. Cook 4 minutes stirring occasionally.
  4. 4Meanwhile cook pasta according to package directions.
  5. 5Place shrimp in skillet. Pour lemon juice and wine over shrimp. Cook 2 minutes
  6. 6Drain pasta. Toss pasta with sauce and all the ingredients in skillet. Top with parmesan cheese and toasted almonds.
