This recipe was wonderful when served with the Poached Chicken Breasts with Gingered Applesauce.

  1. 1Bring the broth, cider, oil, pepper, allspice and salt to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat.
  2. 2Stir in the couscous and bring to a boil again.
  3. 3Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan and cook for 2 minutes, or until all the liquid has been absorbed.
  4. 4Remove from the heat. Fluff with a fork. Cover and allow to stand for 5 minutes.
