A heavenly hominy recipe that's healthy and tastes very good.

  1. 1Spray saucepan thoroughly with cooking spray, like PAM, and drain the water from the hominy.
  2. 2Add hominy, oregano, and flour to the saucepan over medium-high heat, add garlic powder/garlic salt to your taste.
  3. 3Keep stirring the mixture while it's frying until it starts to turn a golden brown, you might have to add a small amount of oil.
  4. 4After a light brown, take off burner and let it cool.
  5. 5Note: if you like it spicy, you can add a few dashes of hot sauce when you're ready to eat!
