  1. 1Put three cups of peaches in the bottom of a 10x6 inch pan or 8x8 inch baking pan.
  2. 2In a large bowl, mix the brown sugar, flour, oatmeal and cinnamon. Then, using an electric mixer cut the soft butter evenly into the dry ingredients.
  3. 3Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the fruit. If you prefer more topping, you can make two thin layers of fruit with two layers of topping.
  4. 4Bake at 375 °F (190 °C) around 40 minutes to 45 minutes, or until the top is slightly browned. The fruit should feel tender when you test with a toothpick.
  5. 5Note: you can use any fruit besides peaches like apples, pears, blueberries, blackberries or fresh plums. Based on a Joan Lunden recipe.
