Cinnamon-Mascarpone Baked Pears

Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
- 2Halve pears lengthwise and core. Place core side up in a medium baking dish.
- 3Spoon 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar and a 1/2 teaspoon butter into each cavity.
- 4Pour juice into baking dish and bake 25 minutes until pears are tender.
- 5Combine cheese, sugar and cinnamon
- 6Top each pear half with 1 1/2 tablespoon cheese mixture and serve warm.
- 7Serve as-is or sprinkle fresh berries on top for an added kick of color.
