Cinnamon-Mascarpone Baked Pears

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
  2. 2Halve pears lengthwise and core. Place core side up in a medium baking dish.
  3. 3Spoon 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar and a 1/2 teaspoon butter into each cavity.
  4. 4Pour juice into baking dish and bake 25 minutes until pears are tender.
  5. 5Combine cheese, sugar and cinnamon
  6. 6Top each pear half with 1 1/2 tablespoon cheese mixture and serve warm.
  7. 7Serve as-is or sprinkle fresh berries on top for an added kick of color.
