  1. 1Bring salted water to a boil. Add potato and onions to water.
  2. 2Using an immersion blender, puree the boiled potatoes and onions (remove some water if a thicker broth is desired, or for a thinner broth add more water).
  3. 3Add kale leaves into soup.
  4. 4Saute chorizo in olive oil. When lightly browned, add the chorizo and the drippings into the soup.
  5. 5Serve hot.
