Ingredients
- 3 large eggsNutrition
- 1 1/2 tsps cinnamonNutrition
- 1/2 tsp ground clovesNutrition
- 2 tsps ground gingerNutrition
- 1/2 tsp saltNutrition
- 1/3 cup vegetable oilNutrition
- 2 cups applesauceNutrition
- 1 tsp baking powderNutrition
- 2 tsps baking sodaNutrition
- 3/4 cup molassesNutrition
- 3 cups flourNutrition
- 600 g granular splendaNutrition
Directions
- 1Pre-heat oven to 350 °F (175 °C). Spray glass 9 x 13" pan with cooking spray.
- 2Pour applesauce, molasses and oil into large mixing bowl. Add eggs and stir well.
- 3Blend remaining dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
- 4Add dry ingredients to applesauce mixture, stir well.
- 5Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- 6Cool pan on a wire rack, approximately 20 minutes.
