  1. 1Cut calamari tubes into 1/4" thick rings.
  2. 2Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic; sauté for 3 minutes or until tender and lightly browned.
  3. 3Add calamari rings, broth, and rest of ingredients except spinach and pine nuts.
  4. 4Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
  5. 5Add spinach, and pine nuts; simmer for 8 minutes or until spinach wilts.
