Dal with Spicy Vegetable Sausage

Ingredients
- 3 meatless veggie bratsNutrition
- 2 tbsps chili powderNutrition
- 2 tbsps corianderNutrition
- 3 tbsps cuminNutrition
- 2 tbsps curry powderNutrition
- 2 tbsps black pepperNutrition
- 3 tbsps olive oilNutrition
- 1 tbsp olive oilNutrition
- 1/4 cup lemon juiceNutrition
- 4 cloves garlicNutrition
- 2 tsps gingerNutrition
- 2 small onionsNutrition
- 3 small whole tomatoesNutrition
- 2 tbsps tomato pasteNutrition
- 3 1/2 cups waterNutrition
- 2 cups lentilsNutrition
Directions
- 1Fry onions, ginger and garlic for 2 minutes on medium until onions brown.
- 2Add spices and cook for 1 more minute, then add all other ingredients.
- 3Bring to a boil, and simmer on low for 15 minutes.
- 4In a separate frying pan, fry sausages for about 5 minutes. Slice up sausages, return to pan and brown sliced edges.
- 5Add sausages to lentil mixture, cook on low for 10 additional minutes.
