- 1Cut pods into half lengthwise and remove inner core with seeds. Discard the core and seeds.
- 2Cut into pieces and soak in water for 30 minutes. Drain and wash thoroughly.
- 3In a pan with oil, put coriander seeds, diced onions, and garlic. Sauté until translucent.
- 4Add bitter gourd, salt, turmeric, and chili powder. Cook on medium heat with lid on for 10 minutes.
- 5Pour water, close lid, and cook for 5 minutes or until done.
