  1. 1Break matzos into bite sized pieces in large mixing bowl. Boil water and pour over matzos pieces.
  2. 2In another medium mixing bowl beat eggs and raisins. Add raisins and eggs to matzos.
  3. 3Peel, core & dice apples. Mix apples, nuts, oil, honey and sugar in bowl previously used for mixing eggs and raisins.
  4. 4Add mixed ingredients into matzo egg mixture and mix.
  5. 5Grease 2 deep 2 quart baking dishes. Pour mixture into dishes.
  6. 6Sprinkle with cinnamon and butter.
  7. 7Bake at 350 °F (175 °C) for 1 hour.
  8. 8Serve warm or cold.
